Out of The Shadows, Into The Light is a Lottery-Funded project running until December 2025 that aims to help trans* people who feel marginalised and isolated in the following ways:

* Seminars. Workshops and Trans Town Halls
* Talks and Lectures
* Social Events and Activities, including Mixers
* Film Screenings and Performances

The aim of all of this is to build confidence, support personal development and to grow our community and your sense of belonging and connecting to that community. Out of The Shadows, Into The Light has three main strands of action. They are:

* Intergenerational – bringing the different generations and eras within the trans community closer together
* Intersectional – developing understanding, awareness and relationships within our various groups: trans* people of colour, neuro-divergent, disabled, trans masculine and so on
* Being Safe & Secure – action to make Liverpool, its spaces and places a safer environment for trans people and to increase our ability to use and inhabit those spaces.
